Lead Coated Copper

Lead coated copper is produced by dipping a copper sheet in hot molten lead, coating both sides with pure lead. Commonly used for it's attractive look. It is a strong, malleable weatherproof material, that is easy to install and long-lasting.

Used for gutters, hangers, metal roofing panels, downspouts, chimney caps, cupolas, louvers, finials, edge metal, flashing, step flashing, leader heads, gutter accessories, conductor boxes and skylights.

Available in 3' x 10' sheets and coil. 16 oz / 20 oz.

Lead coated copper with dark patina finish

Dark patina is a type of finish applied on lead coated copper with a proprietary solution that makes the material darker with the intention to make it look aged.

Special notes

  • Lighting and computer monitors may change the way custom colored metals look. You can always request a color chart to make sure you're getting the right color metal.

  • Different suppliers may call different colored metals by the same name. Please, let us know the correct color code when placing an order.
