Roofinox Tin-Matte |
Roofinox Tin-Matte (Terne coated) Stainless Steel is commonly manufactured with type 439 stainless steel,
coated in both sides with 100% tin,
unlike the no longer manufactured TCSII. It can also
be manufactured with 316L stainless steel (when more corrosion resistance is needed).
When compared to regular stainless steel, Roofinox 20 % softer, 4 times more matte,
much easier to solder, and due to the low thermal expansion and the high strength of the material, it offers a high level of safety
and a long-lasting quality. This material also develops a beautiful patina over time.
Used for masonry flashing, gutters, metal roofing panels, downspouts, chimney caps, cupolas, louvers, finials, edge metal, flashing, step flashing, leader heads, gutter accessories, conductor boxes and skylights. |

Roofinox Classic |
Roofinox Classic is manufactured with stainless steel 316L and 304,
with a cold rolled brushed finish (not a #4 finish).
As Tin-Matte, when compared to regular stainless steel, Roofinox 20 % softer, 4 times more matte,
much easier to solder, and due to the low thermal expansion and the high strength of the material, it offers a high level of safety
and a long-lasting quality. It is easy to clean and offers up to 88% lower gloss level.
Used for masonry flashing, gutters, metal roofing panels, downspouts, chimney caps, cupolas, louvers, finials, edge metal, flashing, step flashing, leader heads, gutter accessories, conductor boxes and skylights. |
